DOHA: Qatar have made it to the semi-finals of the 2010 AFC Futsal Championship West Zone qualifiers on Wednesday.
Hosts Qatar overcame Bahrain 4-3 to lead Group A with three points. Lebanon, who were held 4-4 by Bahrain in the opener, just need a draw from their final game with Qatar on Thursday to enter the semi-finals.
Jordan defeated Kuwait 2-1 to keep their semi-final hopes alive. Iraq, who thrashed Jordan 6-2 in the opener, will meet Kuwait in the final game on Thursday.
Ahmed Abdelrahman and Samer Samih gave Jordan a 2-0 lead while Salem Al Melkaimi pulled one back for Kuwait.
Ahmed Al Baloshi netted two for Qatar while Rashid Al Boinin and an own goal by Mohamed Radhi sealed full points for the hosts. Jasim Al Chuban, Ahmed Abdulrasool and Mohamed Radhi reduced the deficit for Bahrain.
