Looking to beat those winter blues? Head over to the Brownsburg Community & Recreation Center. Brownsburg Parks and Recreation Department is to announce the second year of our futsal league!

The games will be played on a basketball court and will consist of two 20 minute halves. Each co-ed team will consist of seven to ten players. We are offering six different age divisions; 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-17, and 18 & up.

Game times will be scheduled for Saturday and Sunday afternoons. There will be a minimum of four and a maximum of 10 teams per age division and registrations will be taken on a first-come-first-served-basis. There will be a single elimination tournament to determine the champions of each age division.

There will be an information meeting for all players and teams Dec. 20 at the Recreation Center in the Varsity Gym at noon. You must register before the date of this meeting.

Open Play Days to try out Futsal:

Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m. Nov. 9 and 16.

Season:

Saturdays, 4:30 to 8 p.m. Jan. 10-March 15. Sundays, 1-8 p.m. Jan. 11-March 16.

For ages 7 and older.

Cost is $35

Registration ends Nov. 21.
