Newark, N.J. (Friday, November 28, 2008) - The New Jersey Ironmen formally announced today a partnership with North Jersey Futsal, an association officially endorsed by the United States Futsal Federation (USFF). North Jersey Futsal, owners of Satellite Sports in Totowa, is set to open a second facility in North Jersey this January.

"While futsal and indoor soccer may be different forms of the game, they both are still soccer at the core," North Jersey Futsal Vice President Justin Allessio commented. "For soccer lovers and fans, they both are forms of the game they can appreciate and enjoy."

The North Jersey Futsal leagues and tournaments are played in the divisions of Men's Open, Over-30, Over-40, Women's Open, and Youth U7-U17. Their games are played on SnapSports floored courts, the official USFF approved playing surface. The USFF is the national governing body for futsal in the United States and officially endorses North Jersey Futsal.

North Jersey Futsal currently owns Satellite Sports, which is located in Totowa, and they have a second facility that is set to open in January. They are extending their base this Saturday by hosting exhibition matches in Lakewood.
