Coyote Women's Soccer Hosting Futsal Open Tournament on Feb. 16

VERMILLION, S.D. -- The University of South Dakota women's soccer program has announced it is holding an Futsal Open Tournament on Monday, Feb 16.

The event will begin at noon at the DakotaDome in Vermillion.

Futsal is the official soccer indoor game played on a basketball like court with five players on each side. Futsal uses a smaller area of play and a smaller weighted ball to focus on enhancing skills in quick decision and ball control.

There will be men's, women's and co-ed divisions.
