Luparense Calcio A/5 are the first side to progress from the Main round after a 3-1 win against KMF Ekonomac Kragujevac secured a top-two finish in Group 2, with hosts PA Nova Gliwice well-placed to join them after also gaining victory today.
Luparense prevail
An 8-0 win against FK Nigars Riga on Thursday, while Gliwice were being held 4-4 by Kragujevac, put Luparense in pole position to pick up one of the two Elite round berths on offer and now their progress to the 19 September draw is confirmed. Again Jairo Manoel was the opening goalscorer, finding the target on 16 minutes, and Rogerio De Oliveira doubled the lead midway through the second half. Nenad Vitorovi? pulled one back with four minutes left but Mauro Canal made sure of victory.

Gliwice second
Polish hosts Gliwice are second but Nikars gave them a tough game before losing 5-4, having trailed 3-0 at half-time. Gliwice now know a point on Sunday against Luparense would take them into the Elite round from 8-16 November, otherwise Kragujevac could move into second place with victory against Nikars.
