 The hosts of the Copa America beat Ecuador 4-2 in match 2 and managed to qualify for Brazil Futsal World Cup

Colombia, Brazil and Uruguay beat Venezuela, Chile and Ecuador respectively in matchday 2 of the Copa America of Futsal staged in Uruguay to qualify for the next World Cup. Peru and Bolivia drew 4-4.
The Colombian side ratified the good quality showed in their debut, when they lost 2-1 to Argentina, as they beat Venezuelan squad 6-5 in a tough and emotional match.
Venezuela made their debut with a defeat and Argentina had a resting day in Group A. In Group B, Peru debuted with a 4-4 draw against Bolivia. The Bolivian side lost 6-0 to Paraguay in the first match.
Brazil, the favorites to take the title, thrashed Chile 16-0 in Group C, where Uruguay beat Ecuador 4-2, with 2 goals scored in the remaining 30 seconds.
The victory was celebrated by the 1,500 spectators attending the gymnasium of Praga club, in Mercedes, because the Uruguayan team managed to qualify for Brazil World Cup kicking off on September 30.
